Adobe uses free image on their website?!

By | August 30, 2020

Just a bit of a rant about something that came to my attention while I accidentally stumbled upon one of Adobe’s pages using a free stock image. Luck has it that I’ve been using the exact same banner/header image for one of my own websites, so I recognized it immediately.

It’s kinda weird for a company the size of Adobe, with an annual revenue of $9 billion in 2018, to use free images without attribution. Even weirder, they own a stock image marketplace, but don’t seem to believe in their own model of supporting authors who work hard to create those photos.
